THE FRAMEWORK WE RUN ON

PitchKitchen's own
Magnetic Messaging Framework.

Version 3.1 · Updated October 5, 2026

This is PitchKitchen's own Magnetic Messaging Framework: the single, authoritative source of truth for how PitchKitchen explains, sells, and scales what it does, across people, platforms, and AI systems.

Every page on pitchkitchen.com, every sales deck, every post, and PitchKitchen's own AI Brand Twin is built from this document. When anything we publish disagrees with it, this document wins and the other thing gets fixed.

We publish it as a working example of the framework we build for every client. Yours would have the same 31 sections, written from your truth.

New to the framework? What the Magnetic Messaging Framework is

Section 0

Category Narrative

For twenty years, B2B companies could hide a weak story behind a big ad budget, a slick deck, and a patient buyer. That world is gone. Buyers now ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini who to call, and AI can only recommend what it can clearly understand.

At the same time, AI brought the cost of content to zero. Anyone can publish a hundred posts and ship a new homepage in a weekend. Volume is no longer the moat. Perspective is.

That's why PitchKitchen starts where the work actually starts: the story, and the truth underneath it. Then we design and build everything a company uses to sell on that one story.

Section 1

Core Beliefs

The best product doesn't win. The best story does.

1. AI didn't break marketing. It exposed it.
Buyers used to give you thirty minutes to explain yourself. Now they ask AI for a recommendation in five seconds, and AI repeats whatever story is clearest. The customer must believe: "If I don't fix my story, I become invisible."
2. Most founders don't have a marketing problem. They have a translation problem.
The truth about why the company matters is already in the founder's head, sharp and hard-won from years of customer conversations. It just hasn't made it onto the page. The customer must believe: "I know why we matter. I just can't get it out of my head."
3. You can't design your way out of a story problem.
A new website, a new deck, a new ad campaign: each one carries whatever story you hand it. If the story's unclear, every redesign just makes the confusion look better. Fix the story first, and every asset gets easier to make and easier to buy from. The customer must believe: "Another redesign won't fix this. We need the story first."
BeliefFilters outFilters in
AI exposed it"We'll get to messaging next year."Founders who feel the clock ticking
Translation problem"Just write us a story."Founders with the truth already in their head

Section 2

Category-Defining Thought Leadership and Unique Positioning

We start with the story. Then we build everything on it.

Brand identity is more than the logo and colors. That's visual identity. The load-bearing layer is the Narrative Identity: who the company is, who it's for, what it stands for, and the story it tells and lives. Every PitchKitchen engagement is a Narrative Identity shift, documented in the Magnetic Messaging Framework so both people and AI can use it.

Excavate
We get the truth out of the founder, the leadership team, and the customers' own words. Messaging therapy, not a brainstorm.
Sharpen
We document it in a 31-section Magnetic Messaging Framework and validate it with real buyers.
Build
We design and build the AI-native website, the sales presentations, the sales enablement, and the marketing creative on that one story.
Scale
We train an AI Brand Twin on the framework and wire it in through MCP, so every person and every AI tool connects to one source of truth and tells the story the same way.

Named ideas PitchKitchen owns: Solution-Centric Marketing (the villain), Problem-Centric Marketing (the cure), Narrative Identity, the AI Brand Twin, Brand Twin over MCP, AI-Parmesan, the Context Vacuum, the Cover-the-Logo Test, the Three Questions Test, and the Brand Signal Score.

  • "This is just truth."
  • "Take the lipstick off the pig."
  • "AI brought the cost of content to zero. Volume is no longer the moat. Perspective is."

Section 3

What Is the Problem?

Weaker competitors are winning because they sound clearer, and now even the AI agrees with them.

Buyers compare you to vendors who do completely different things. ChatGPT recommends a competitor whose product is half as good because their story is twice as clear. Your sales team spends the first twenty minutes of every call explaining basics that should already be obvious. Your board is asking why the marketing budget hasn't moved the needle.

The structural cause is coherence. There's no single source of truth, so the website, the deck, the ads, and the AI tools each tell a slightly different story. And nobody inside can fix it, because they're too close to the work.

Section 4

Category / Website Eyebrow

Messaging-First B2B Marketing Agency

Messaging-first is the order of operations. Every engagement starts with the story and the truth underneath it. Then we design and build the website, the sales presentations, the sales enablement, and the marketing creative on it.

Section 5

Provocative Hook, Website Headlines and Subheads

Great product. Weak story. That's the problem.

Subhead: Even your warm referrals are ghosting you. We rebuild your story so buyers, sales, and AI all finally get why you matter, design and build everything you sell with on it, then put a CMO in every salesperson's pocket with an AI Brand Twin trained on it.

  • Why are weaker competitors winning?
  • Your best sales rep isn't a person.
  • Stop pitching. Start winning.
  • Does the market get what you do?

Section 6

Description and Transformation Story

PitchKitchen is a messaging-first B2B marketing agency in New York, founded by Greg Rosner, that designs and builds websites, sales presentations, sales enablement, and marketing for growth-stage B2B companies ($5M-$75M revenue), and every engagement starts with the story: the truth about why the company matters, documented in the Magnetic Messaging Framework as the single source of truth that every asset is built on and an AI Brand Twin is trained on.

Transformation story: We help CEOs of growth-stage B2B companies turn solution-centric marketing that nobody remembers into one problem-centric story that buyers, sales teams, and AI engines all repeat. We find the truth, document it, then design and build the website, the sales presentations, the enablement, and the creative on it, so the company gets found, gets chosen, and gets seen as the leader of its category.

Our recommended setup is a private MCP server everyone connects to from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or the AI they already use, so one update reaches every tool at once. A GPT, a Claude Project, or a shared space also works when someone owns keeping every copy current.

Section 9

Hashtag, Three-Word Rebellions, Buyer Mission Statement

#StopPitchingStartWinning

  • Truth before amplification.
  • Story before design.
  • Take the lipstick off the pig.

Buyer mission statement: We will tell the truth about why our company matters, say it the same way everywhere, and let the market choose us for it.

Section 10

Ideal Customer / Buyer

  • Growth-stage B2B companies, $5M-$75M revenue, usually VC- or PE-backed, selling complex or high-ticket solutions ($25K+ deals).
  • Verticals with the deepest track record: B2B SaaS, AI-driven companies, healthtech, fintech, cybersecurity, and B2B services.
  • Already spending real money on marketing that isn't turning into deals.
  • The CEO or founder decides. The CRO or VP of Sales is usually the first to see the problem.

Not a fit: companies without a product customers love, founders who won't be in the room, and teams that want a quick redesign without fixing the story underneath it.

Section 11

Who Are the Characters of the Story?

The Hero: the CEO
Built something customers love, and can't get the market to see it. Re-explains the company on every important call.
The Guide: PitchKitchen
Greg Rosner, messaging therapist, and the PitchKitchen team. We've seen the pattern hundreds of times, we get the truth out, and we build the assets that carry it.
The Villain: Solution-Centric Marketing
The old playbook that leads with the product instead of the buyer's problem. A system, never a person.
The Adversary: the CMO running the old playbook
Busy, well-meaning, and measuring activity. Leads are coming in; deals aren't. Doesn't see that the story, not the channel mix, is the problem.
The Champion: the CRO or VP of Sales
Hears the confusion on every call, knows reps are working too hard to explain what should be obvious, and pushes the CEO to fix it.

Section 12

What Does the Hero Want?

To accelerate growth and be found, selected, and positioned as the market leader.

StageWhat it meansWhat goes wrong today
FoundWhen buyers or AI agents go looking, the company surfaces.AI can't summarize the truth and recommends competitors.
SelectedWhen buyers compare, the company wins on clarity, not price.Buyers default to whoever sounds simplest.
Positioned as the leaderThe company stops being a vendor and becomes the voice of the problem.Everyone sounds the same, so nobody leads.

The emotional payoff: sales calls start with "we've heard about you" instead of "so what do you do?" When the board asks why the company is winning, the answer is "because we're the obvious choice."

Section 13

What Is the Hero's Problem?

  • Prospects compare them to solutions that aren't even close to what they do.
  • Weaker competitors win because they tell a simpler story.
  • Sales calls turn into long sessions of explaining, and still end in "not now."
  • Marketing is busy, and it isn't turning into revenue.
  • AI-written content sounds like everyone else's.
  • The homepage doesn't land, so warm referrals bounce.
  • There's no single, clear story, so every asset gets built from scratch.

Section 14

What Is the Impact on Organizations That Don't Adapt?

  • They keep losing deals to worse products with clearer stories.
  • Sales keeps doing marketing's job on every call, and burns out.
  • The marketing budget keeps buying activity instead of outcomes.
  • AI amplifies the confusion, faster and at scale.
  • Someone else defines the category, and they spend years playing catch-up.

Section 15

Statements of Empathy

You shouldn't have to fight your own story.

  • You shouldn't have to explain your company on every sales call.
  • Your warm referrals shouldn't bounce off your homepage.
  • You shouldn't lose deals to a weaker product because their story is simpler.
  • Your marketing budget shouldn't be invisible to AI.
  • You deserve a website, a deck, and an AI that all say the same true thing.

Section 16

Problem Statements in the Voice of the Customer

  • "We have an amazing product, but prospects keep comparing us to solutions that aren't even close to what we do."
  • "We're wasting hours cleaning up AI copy that sounds like everyone else and still doesn't say what we really mean."
  • "We spend so much time on sales calls explaining what we do, and by the end, we still hear 'not now' or 'maybe next year.'"
  • "Our product should be a no-brainer, but buyers still don't move and we're not sure why."
  • "We have a marketer doing a lot of 'marketing,' but it's not turning into deals."
  • "We're selling a sophisticated solution, maybe even with AI, but our homepage still doesn't land."
  • "We know if we could just find the right story, everything would unlock."
  • "Our deck isn't sparking real buying conversations. It's explaining, not enrolling."
  • "We're losing to competitors, even worse ones, because they sound clearer."
  • "We've tried content, PPC, AI tools, and rewrites, but deep down we know the problem isn't tactics."

Section 17

How Has the World Changed?

  • Buyers ask AI first. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini now shape the shortlist before a rep ever gets a call.
  • AI brought the cost of content to zero, so everyone can publish more. The flood made sameness worse.
  • AI-Parmesan is everywhere: "AI-powered" sprinkled on every homepage until it means nothing.
  • Websites no longer need to live in WordPress or Wix. An AI-native site can be updated by any AI the team already uses.
  • Every person on the team now drafts with a different AI. Without one connected source of truth, each tool tells its own version of the story.

Section 18

What World Do We Envision?

A world where the best product wins because the market can finally see why it matters, and every person and every AI tells that story the same way.

Section 19

Words Someone Might Search

  • messaging-first B2B marketing agency
  • B2B messaging and positioning agency
  • strategic messaging and positioning for B2B companies
  • B2B marketing agency for SaaS / healthtech / fintech / cybersecurity
  • AI-native website design and development agency
  • B2B sales deck and sales enablement agency
  • fractional CMO for B2B companies
  • how to get recommended by ChatGPT for B2B
  • train AI on our brand voice

Check these against Peec AI and Search Console data each quarter and update this list.

Section 20

The Promised Land

The Obvious Choice

  • Buyers get it in 5 seconds. Not 5 meetings.
  • Sales calls start with "we've heard about you." Not "so what do you do?"
  • AI recommends you. Not your competitor.
  • The board asks how you're winning. Not why you're not.

Section 21

Old Game vs. New Game (The Narrative Spine)

Section 22

Competition and Differentiation

  • Traditional marketing agencies start with activity: ads, content, and campaigns built on whatever story the client hands them. PitchKitchen starts with the story, then builds the activity on it.
  • Website design firms start with design and deliver a WordPress or Wix site. PitchKitchen starts with the story and delivers a fully developed, AI-native site the client can update with any AI.
  • Positioning consultants hand over a strategy document and leave. PitchKitchen documents the story and then designs and builds the assets that carry it.
  • An in-house CMO running the old playbook measures activity. PitchKitchen measures whether buyers, sales, and AI repeat the story.

Section 23

Webinar, Live Event, and Article Titles

  • Why are weaker competitors winning? The story problem nobody on your team can see.
  • AI-Parmesan: why "AI-powered" on your homepage makes you invisible.
  • The Cover-the-Logo Test: would anyone know this homepage is yours?
  • Volume is no longer the moat. Perspective is.
  • Your next website shouldn't need a webmaster: building AI-native sites your team can update with any AI.
  • Fix the story before the redesign: what to do before you hire a web agency.

Section 24

What's the Plan?

  1. Book a Strategy Call or get your free Brand Signal Score, and see exactly where your story breaks.
  2. Run the 90-Day Magnetic Messaging Sprint: excavate the truth, document it, and build your website, sales presentations, and AI Brand Twin on it.
  3. Keep everything on story with ongoing design and production, and watch the market start repeating you.

Section 25

Quotes and Social Proof

“We kept losing deals to weaker competitors because our value wasn't clear. Our homepage was vague, sales calls dragged on, and prospects kept asking, 'How are you different?' After PitchKitchen's 90-day sprint, our positioning is crystal clear, inbound leads convert faster, and sales calls start with, 'We need this. How fast can we get started?'”
Massood Zarrabian, CEO, Trilio
“We burned $100K on marketing last year with no results. Ads, SEO, content, nothing turned into sales. Greg pinpointed the problem in five minutes: our messaging was lost in the noise. After PitchKitchen rebuilt our message and trained AI to scale it, marketing finally drives revenue, and our sales cycles shrank.”
Tricia Glick, CEO, Behavior Science Tech
“We almost hired a full-time CMO before realizing we didn't need more 'marketing activities.' We needed a system that makes marketing work. In 90 days, Greg gave us a category-defining narrative, a homepage that converts, a sales deck that closes, and AI that scales our message effortlessly. We saved six figures and years of trial and error.”
Brad Stackhouse, CEO, Csuite

Section 28

What Are the Stakes?

  • Prospects keep overlooking you, or pick the competitor whose story they understood first.
  • Every rebuild, campaign, and AI tool repeats the same unclear story, so the spend compounds the problem.
  • AI engines learn your competitors' version of your category.
  • The longer you wait, the harder it gets to reposition as the leader.

Section 29

Barriers to Change and Objections

"We just redesigned the website."
Did it fix the problem? If reps still explain what you do on every call, the redesign was built on the old story.
"We already have a CMO and an agency."
Keep them. Hand them the framework and they finally work from one story.
"Can't we just use AI to fix our messaging?"
AI amplifies whatever it's given. Feed it a weak story and you get more of it, faster.
"We don't have time for this."
You have time for sales calls that go nowhere. The longer you wait, the more expensive the fix.
"Our product should sell itself."
If the best product always won, weaker competitors wouldn't be taking your deals.

Section 30

What Does Success Look Like?

  • Buyers arrive pre-sold, and sales calls start with "we need this."
  • The website, the deck, the ads, and the AI all say the same true thing.
  • The team updates the AI-native website themselves, with any AI, on story.
  • AI engines recommend you by name in your category.
  • Marketing feeds sales, and nobody second-guesses the message anymore.

Section 31

What Does Failure Look Like?

  • Calls keep starting with "let me explain what we do" and ending with "let me think about it."
  • Another redesign, another agency, another rebrand, same story underneath.
  • Price becomes the only thing buyers compare.
  • A competitor owns the category and the AI recommendations that come with it.

You don't need more content. You need the right story, before someone else tells it for you.

VERSION HISTORY

  • v3.1 · 2026-10-05

Named Brand Twin over MCP: the AI Brand Twin is now wired in through MCP as the recommended setup: everyone connects to one Twin from the AI they already use, which guarantees the single source of truth better than a shared project where everyone loads a copy. AI-native websites now name the strangler fig migration (one page at a time) and written governance for who proposes, approves, and publishes changes.

  • v3.0 · 2026-10-04
